A safe minimum print height is about 2 cm (0.8 in) for a URL QR code at typical viewing distance. The farther the scanner stands, the larger the code should be.
Resolution matters for print. Vector SVG output removes pixelation entirely and scales to any size. For fixed-resolution print, export PNG at 300 DPI.
Always leave a quiet zone (white margin) around the code equal to four modules on every side. Printing a code edge-to-edge or over a busy background is the most common cause of scan failures.
Higher error-correction levels let you print smaller or place a logo, but they also make the code denser — balance the two based on your print quality.
